Fact file on the limpet

We have been reading The  Limpet Mystery
By Kim Westerskov

Did you know a marine biologist is a person who researches sea creatures and seaweed. This text is about a marine biologist who wants to find out how limpets get back to their home without eyes.
I have learnt some interesting facts about the limpet.
1.They are smaller than a matchbox and they live inside a hard shell.
2.When the tide is out they stay sealed in their shell.
3.When the tide is in they go out for dinner.
4.They feed on algae and tiny seaweeds.
5.The fastest they move is about one centimetre a minute.
6.Before the rock dries out they are back in their  groove and they always make it on time.
7.It is a mystery how the limpet gets back to their spot on the rock each day.
