Dear Mrs Baker
Hi my name is Joseph, I'm 12 years old and I am in Room 8.
I
think my dad should get the “Caught Being Good Dad” award because he
has been my mum and my dad for many years. My dad's name is Mike
Peters and he is 45 years old.He is unemployed and he gets paid to look
after my brother and I.He is a brilliant cook and we always have food
on the table. He has looked after us when we were sick and helps us with
everything we do.
He
is a slim, medium built man and is a loving father. He has black hair
but has a lot of grey.He has brown eyes and has a dented nose because it
has been broken before. My dad has a tough job because he has to do all
of the jobs a mother does. He used to read us stories every night and
put us to bed with one of his caring songs and we loved it.He devoted
his life to us and we are are so grateful for all he has done. He is a
generous man and does all of the house work.
Dad
trained my rugby team when I was 7yrs old and did a great job.He has
given me life skills as I grew older like treat women right and to look
after my little brother. He was there on my first day of school and
helped me to start a good year at school. We did training in the morning
that my dad set up,we had all the fitness gear and it was fun.He wanted
to be a better dad than his dad who had told him everything he touches
turns to poo and he achieved his goal.He has worked tirelessly all my
life to give me a better future and I am grateful for my dad.
Please
consider him because he deserves it.He has been an astonishing father
all my life and I would like to give him something back.
